Character Collections is a collaborative project ideated and photographed by Rachel Holmes. She created a visual representation of her subjects coupled with illustrations to expand upon their complexity. The collections of objects surrounding the subjects represent the stories, passions and defining features of the individuals. Olivia Holmes illustrated the collections to complement the characters using a combination of simplified line work and graphic design.
